Every door is measured to your opening, so it sits properly and locks the way it should. You can leave the front door open in summer and still know the house is shut.

A door is only as good as the way it’s fitted. We measure it at your place, order it to size and hang it ourselves. No gap along the bottom, no rattle, no lock that starts sticking after a few months. And because we’re locksmiths, we can sort the lock side of things while we’re there. If you want the new door to open with the same key as your front door, just say so.

WHAT WE OFFER

Our Security Doors

All our security doors are Guardwell, made here in Gippsland and covered by a five-year warranty. The frames are powder coated over a zinc base, so they hold up fine near the coast. These are the four ranges we fit.

Guard Safe: Stainless steel mesh you can see straight through. Marine grade 316 in an aluminium frame, so it holds its looks outside with almost no upkeep. Suits hinged and sliding doors, patio enclosures and window grilles.

Vision Guard: Aluminium mesh in a clean flat frame with no bars or grilles. Clear view out, restricted view in. Maintenance-free, comes in a big range of colours and costs less than stainless.

Ultra Diamond Grilles: The diamond grille look, custom-made to your opening. Hinged or sliding, and it suits windows as well as doors. Add the one-way mesh if you want to stop people seeing in without losing your view out.

Titan Collection: Steel and aluminium doors. A cheaper way to get real strength is to powder coat over a zinc base using Dulux powders.

Frequently Asked Security Door Questions

Do you make the doors?

No. We fit Guardwell doors. They’re made in Gippsland by a local family who have been doing it for over 30 years, so the wait isn’t long and the warranty is easy to sort out if you ever need it.

Will one fit my door?

Nearly always. The doors are made to your measurements rather than bought off a shelf, so odd sizes, double doors and older houses with frames that aren’t quite square are all fine. We measure before anything is ordered.

How long does it take?

Two visits. The first one is the measure and quote and takes about twenty minutes. Once the door is made, fitting it usually takes a couple of hours.

Will it keep bugs out too?

Yes. The mesh keeps insects out and still lets the air through, so you can leave the main door open through summer.

Can it open with my house key?

Usually. We can set the new door up to use the same key as your front door. Just mention it when you book.
